RELIGIOUS SERVICES. LECTURE ON BIBLE TRUTH (God willing). 10.0.P. BALL. ALLEN STREET • (Opp. Paramount, Courteuay Place). SUNDAY at 7 p.m.. "WHY BRITAIN IS NOT ISRAEL" THE BRITISH-ISRAEL THEORY REFUTED. The object of this lecture is to show from the Scriptures what the true facts concerning the nation of Israel are in contrast to the erroneous teaching of Bri-tish-Israelism. In the course of the lecture it will be shown: (1) THAT all the twelve tribes of Israel (the whole nation) were distinctly told by God at the beginning of their national existence that if disobedient to God's commandments they—all the twelve ' tribes—would be "SUATTERKD AMONG ALL PEOPLE, FROM THE ONE END OF THE EARTH EVEN UNTO THE OTHER" to become "AN ASTONISHMENT, A PROVERB, AND A BYWORD, AMONG ALL NATIONS." (Deut. 28:15, 25, 37, 63-04, Lev. 26:31-35.) (2) THAT the subsequent history of -the nation of Israel reveals 'the fact that ALL THE TWELVE TRIBES proved themselves "A REBELLIOUS NATION," and cons.quently, as foretold,' they—the twelve tribes—were ultimately "REMOVED INTO ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE EARTH." (Eze. 2:3-8, Eze. 3:1-1}, Amos 3:1-2, 2 Kings 17:6-23, 2 Kings 18:11-12, Jer. 5:11-18, Jer. 00:17, Dan. 9:5-11, Hosea 9:17, Luke 21:24.) (3) THAT the prophecies plainly indicate that all the scattered twelve tribes of Israel would remain scattered among the nations until regathered to Palestine to become the mightiest mortal nation in the coming KINGDOM OF GOD on earth. (Isa. 11:11-12, Jer. 3:IS, Jer. 30:3, Jer. 31:10, Jer. 31:27-28, Jer. 33:7-8, Jer. 33:14-20, Eze. 20:33-44, Eze. 28:25-26, Eze. 36:22-24, Eze. 37:21-22, Eze. 39:25-28, Jer. 23:5-8, Gen. 12:2, Micah 4:6-8, Zech. 8:23, etc.) (4) THAT, furthermore, the prophecies plainly indicate that Israel's throne — the throne of David —would be over- - turned and would "be no more" until the return to Earth of the Lord Jesus Christ —Israel's rejected Messiah — whose mission it will be to restore David's throne in Jerusalem and then reign therefrom, not only as King over the twelve tribes of Israel then regathered and become "a great nation." but, as "KING OVER ALL THE EARTH." (Eze. 21:25-27, Hosea 1:4, Hosea 3:4-5, Acts.l:(s, Amos 9:11, Acts 15:16-17, Jer. 33:14-18, Luke 1:31-33, Isa. 24:23, Jer.'3:l7, Matt. 19:28, Luke 22:29-30, Zech. 14:9, Acts 17:31, Rev. 19:15-16, etc.) Questions invited. ".-■• . , »' A Hearty Invitation Extended to All., A MAN asked me this question: "How do you know "there is a .Hell!"' There are two reasons for believing there is sueh1* a place. First (and this should be sufficient ior anyone), because the Word of Gdd declares so, in no uncertain sound. Second, the common sense that God. has given me tells me there must be such a place. In this life often the worst criminals- escape punishment. Those who rob their fellow-men, those who betray innocent women, and those false teachers and-preachers who teach and preach Satan's lies, these shall all prove the truth of that solemn word, "It is appointed unto men, once to die, and after this the judgment." Heb. 9:27. Also, "God lias appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness, by that Man whom He has ordained. Whereof He has given assurauqe unto all men, in that He has raised Him from the dead." Acts 17:31. Two appointments that every unsaved soul must keep. I give the verse that wa3 used in my conversion. Blessed Word. "Verily verily I cay unto you, he that heareth My Word and belieyeth on Ham that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 6:^4.
