RAjLWAYMEN'S DECISION

AUCKLAND; September I,
A decision to refuse to handle any article or commodity consigned % lo Japan untili.such time as .imperialist Japan withdraws 'front} the present conflict, was made by the Otahuhu branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants of New Zealand; at a meeting this week. The-meeting also called upon all workers to join them and so assist in bringing about a speedy end to the blood bath .threatening both the Chinese and Japanese workers. ,
The resolution stated that the action proposed was taken "owing to the most brutal and malicious method of attack on the Chinese people by the Fascist State of Japan purposely,:as we view the situation, with the object of beating back the ever-increasing and fastgrowing working-class :;riovement for emancipation and the true democracy of the people as against imperialism, caoitalu-m, and Fascism/ '.
; The view was expressed thai; the unwarranted arid unjustified bombings oi civilians in China were some of the most brutal outrages ever perpetrated upon mankind.
