SHEPHERD'S BODY FOUND

HASTINGS, This Day.
An all-day search yesterday resulted in the finding of 'the body' of J. Retter, a shepherd, aged about 23, who had been missing since Tuesday from Big Hill Station, Maraekakaho, where he was employed. The body was found' a mile below a ford in a flooded creek which, it is believed, he attempted to cross on a horse. It is assumed that the horse stumbled and threw him into the water. ■ , , . :
