"BETRAYAL OF INDUSTRY"

That the guaranteed price fixed for the current season was totally inadequate to cover costs of production and was looked upon by members as betrayal of the dairy industry, was the text of a motion carried by the Manawatu provincial executive of the Farmers' Union today.
It was further decided to ask the Farmers' Union to co-operate with all sections of the industry in opposition to the' impositions being placed on it. ■■ ■ ■ ..- * ' •
