STAFF DANCE
MACDUFF'S, LTD
St. Francis Hall was the scene of. a very gay gathering on Tuesday night, when. Macduff's, Limited, held their eleventh annual staff dance. Bright lights outlined the s stage and balcony, and shone on the rainbow-hued frocks of the dancers' which were reflected in the wide mirrors on either side of the room.
Mr. and-Mrs. W. T. Richards, with Mr. L. O. Boyd, were host and hostess, and received a large number of guests. Between dances several items were given—tap dances by Misses E. Hathaway and A. Cooke, and a trio by Messrs., S. Devenie and K. and E. Atley. A home-made supper was served and, at the conclusion of a very happy evening "Auld Lang Syne" was sung. The committee comprised Misses L. Jefferson, A. Cooke, S., Devenie, D. Clarke; and Messrs. S. Clarke, J. Moynihan, L. Bunting, and E. Hathaway. Mr. L. Harding was M.C.
