The best scores in the eclectia.stroke (competition played on the Strathmore Park links last Saturday were:— Tucker, 24J, A. Morison 25, B. Brownlee 26.
Oa Sunday the modal round was rwon by L. Tucker, 70, 10—60.
In.the second round of the championships, Aitken beat Morison, 6 and 4; Smith beat T. Tucker, 7 and 5; L. Tucker beat Payne, 2 and 1; Scott beat Anthony, 8 and 7; Carswell beat Millier, 1 up; Wright beat Brownlee, P and 2. On- Saturday a bogey competition will be.played, and on Sunday a medal round lor a trophy presented by the captain (Mr. C. Stone). The remainder of second round championship jgames must be played oft by that date.
