SOUTH WESTLAND
CONSTRUCTION OF HARBOUR
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, August 26. Word was received today that Cabinet has approved of the construction of a harbour at Jackson Bay, South Westland, opening up probably the greatest remaining block of timber land in the Dominion, facilitating work on road construction to link up wtih, the southern provinces,, and opening up pastorial country. Westland County and South West.) land spokesmen are jubilant at the de- j ciston, it being pointed out that it is the most auspicious development in the history of the district. Facilities exist there for a very large harbour.
