Fields of better numerical strength than anticipated. particularly in the steeplechases, have been secured for the second day of the C.J.C. Grand National Meeting tomorrow. Tudor is a surprise acceptor for the Beaufort Steeplechase, and he might safely get this distance. The weather1 at present is very dull, but there is no real threat of rain.
