N.S.W. STIPENDIARIES
New appointments to the; office of stipendiary ,steward; under the Australian Jockey Club:will be made as from January 31 of next year. Three stewards and an assistant steward will fc . appointed.
For many years Messrs. Fraser, Williams, and Timperley were the stewards for the metropolitan meetings, and when the associated racing clubs merged their control with that of the chief club Messrs. Donohoo and Turner were added to the number. Subsequently, Mr. Timpcrlcy became racecourse supervisor r.nd the other four officials are acting at present.
