Pleading not guilty before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the. Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon to opening his premises after hours and exposing liquor for sale, John Douglas McKechnie, licensee of the Shamrock Hotel, was convicted and fined £5 on the exposing charge. The opening charge was withdrawn.
