30,000-FOOT JUMP
RUSSIAN PARACHUTIST
(Received July 30, 9.45 a.m.) LENINGRAD, July 29. K. F. Kaitanov made a parachute I jump from an altitude of 30,000 feet, taking half an hour to land and creating a world record. He carried oxygen. This was Kaitanov's four hundred and twenty-third jump.
