OFFENSIVE OFF TAKU
CHINESE FIRE ON DESTROYER
• i TOKIO, July 29. The Japanese Minister of the Navy, Admiral: Mitsubasa, in an official an.'nouncement, states that Chinese troops fired on a Japane.se destroyer lying off Taku. The destroyer returned the. fire, after which naval forces opened an offensive' in co-operation with the Japanese military forces.
