Weddel and Co., London, June 24, reported: Miscellaneous and colonial markets are under the depressing influence of the Plate and U.S.A. markets, and trading is very low. Shippers have been rather inclined to give way in certain selections, and today New Zealand freezer cowhides, 30/50 pounds, are freely offered at 7d, and D/S Queensland Meatworks, 25/35 pounds, have been sold at. BJd, with further sellers at this price. The leather market is rather slow, but prices are quite steady.
