NEW SHOWS FOR AUSTRALIA.
The J. C. Williamson, Ltd., musical comedy company in "Over She Goes," now in Australia, will later in the. year appoar in another successful London musical comedy, "Swing Along. Another musical production to be presented in Melbourne for the first.time in Australia by another company will be "Balalaika." In this three noted new artists will make their first, appearance in Australia—Robert Haniday, leading man; Margaret Adams, prima donna; and Marjorie Gordan, comedienne. Robert Halliday, . who was-born. in-. Scotland,, but-has appeared mostly in New York'and London, was the original' Red Shadow in. the New.York production of "The Desert Song." Margaret Adams is a descendant of the famous Adams family,-of which John Adams,'the second President of the United-States, was', a member. She has played in notable New York musical productions; ■ including "Show Boat." She" was featured" with Mary Boland in the Cole-Porter musical "production, "Jubilee." -
