(Special to the "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. The gift of £1550 which Lord Nuffield made to Palmerston North along with other cities some time ago has been allocated by the Mayor (Mr. A. E. Mansford) as follows:—Crippled children, £350; deaf and blind, £175; R.S.A., £125; Blind Institute (Auckland) for Palmerston North cases, £100; All Saints' Children's Home, £100: maternity cases, £100; Willard Children's Home, £75; Plunket Society, £50; St. Vincent de Paul Society, £50; Salvation Army, £50: Sisters of Convent of Mercy, £50; Women's Division Farmers' Union, £50: V.M.C.A., £50; St. John Ambulance Brigade, £25; Foxton Plunket Society. £25; Nursing Division of St. John Ambulance, £25; Palmerston North Hospital Women's Auxiliary, £25; Y.W.C.A.. £25; held in reserve, £100.
