PINNED UNDER CAR
FARMER'S DEATH
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, July 15. The body of Leonard Harold Floyd, a farmer, aged 40, of Moavvhango, Taihape, was found pinned under a car in a swamp at the roadside about a mile from his home this morning. The vehicle was found lying in three feet of water and a watch on Mr. Floyd's arm, which stopped at 8.20 o'clock, probably indicates the time the accident occurred. He was last seen leaving Taihape for home at 7 o'clock yesterday. Mr. Floyd was a married man with two young sons, and was a returned soldier, having been badly gassed in the war.
