DUTCH PAINTINGS
At the end of.next week the loan exhibition of Dutch and Flemish paintings, now on view at the National Art Gallery, will be withdrawn to make room for other exhibitions. There is, therefore, but a short time left in which to see this unique collection of valuable paintings by seventeenth-cen-tury masters. Many people have already been to see them, often more than once, for they are exceedingly interesting. At the same time there is on view a collection of etchings by English and Continental artists, and this albne is well worth a visit to the National Art Gallery. Tlw Dutch paintings are to be shown in Auckland after they leave Wellington. Their place in the National Art Gallery will be taken in two or three weeks'" time by an exhibition of colour and other printing from Great Britain.
