REXMANN MINES.
Rexmann Mines manager reports for week ended June 19 that the framework of the main battery building was completed. The company's prospector has been engaged in trenching the Carvel reef both east and west with a view to enable close sampling. KING SOLOMON MINE. At a further meeting of the directors and shareholders of King Solomon Deep Lead, Ltd., held on Saturday last, it was decided that the comnany should go into voluntary liquidation. Messrs. R. S. Green and W. Crawford were appointed liquidators at a fee to be agreed upon between the present directors of the company and the liquidators when liquidation has been completed. Mr. Crawford said he was very sorry that the time had come when the company had to go into liquidation. Some of the Auckland shareholders had expressed surprise at the steps taken by the shareholders in Southland, but there was no use bringing up gold if it was going to cost more to get it than it was worth.
