"BRIDGE EVENING"
An enjoyable "bridge evening* was held recently at the residence, of Mrs. M. Allen, Seatoun, to help "the funds" of the Plunket Society. There was a large attendance of. very keen- players, the prize-winners being Mesdames Hollings, Ambler, and' Low. A delicious home-made supper was served by the committee, the tables being tastefully decorated with Iceland .poppies. Both socially and financially the party was a great success.
