ENDOWMENTS SUGGESTED
LONDON, June 4,
Viscount Bledisloe, former GovernorGeneral of New Zealand, addressing members of agricultural and forest services of the Empire overseas at Rothamstead, said that £10,000 spent on soil research might lead to benefit to the extent of £500,000.
He suggested that £10,000 should be given by each part of the Empire as an endowment to Rothamstead when it celebrates its centenary in 1943. •
