Materials: 11 skeins 4-ply wool, rose pink, 1 ball white Angora- wool, pair No. 10 needles. Measurements: Shoulder to lower edge in front, 21? in, all round under arms 26in, sleeve seam 12Jin; widtn, lower edge 35Jin. Tension 7 sts. and 10 rows to lin. Front: Commence at the lower edge, cast on 135 sts., work in plain knitting for Uin, then proceed as follows:— • Ist Row (right side of wqrk).— * K. 5, wool forward, si. 6, repeat from *. Return to sts. on spare needle and work other side to correspond. Back.—Work in the same manner as the front, until 3in of the yoke is completed, when the slit at the back begins, divide the sts. in half, and work each side separately. ' Having shaped armhole to correspond. with front; work in rib, until yoke measures 4Jin.. On next row, cast off 10 sts. at. neck edge, then dec. 1 st. at same edge, every row, 3.times. When yoke measures, same as front, shape shoulder as before. Sleeves: Both alike. Cast on 45 sts., work-in k: 1, p. 1 rib for lin. Change to st. St., knitting twice into every 3rd st. on first row- Work straight on these sts. until sleeve measures 124 in. Shape top by knitting two tog. at the beginning and end of every row for a further 3in, cast off-remaining sts. Collar.—Using No. 10 needles and Angora wool, cast on 8 sts.; work in plain knitting for 8 rows. * Cast on 6 sts. Work for 6 rows,, cast on 6 sts. work for 6 rows, cast off 6. sts. Work for 6 rows, cast off 6 sts. Work for 6 rows. Repeat from * until there are enough peaks to fit round neck. Cast off.

To make up.—Pin out to measurements. Press with a hot iron over damp cloth, except yoke, cuffs, and collar. These must be pressed lightly over a dry cloth. Join shoulder side and sleeve seams, pleat the top sleeves to fit armholes, sew in sleeves. Fasten the slit at neck with loops and buttons. Sew on collar.
