FIRST'TASTE OF WINTER

. DUNEDIN, This Day. Dunedin experienced its first taste of winter overnight when snow fell heavily, the fall continuing until this afternoon. Roads in Otago are not so far seriously affected. During the peak of the fall last evening the electrical service was interrupted and the city was plunged into darkness, for ten minutes. The weather is still cold and Unsettled, with more snow threatening.
