(From ,"The Post's" Representative.)

WANGANUI, June 2,

Seldom have hounds and horses been treated to such a strenuous outing as that enjoyed at the Rangitikei Hunt Club's day at "Shirley." Hares were remarkably plentiful, the runs were fact and exciting, and three "kills" were made. Although the last run was early in the afternoon, it was decided to "call it a day," and everyone was entertained at Mrs. E. L. Briant's hospitable homestead at afternoon tea. Among the riders were Mrs. E. Duncan, Misses C. Wilson, V. Cameron, M. Marshall. The. spectators included Lady Richardson (England), Mesdames G. Briant, R. K. Simpson, Christensen, •G. L. Marshall, F. McLean, W. W. Wilson, and Misses Levett (Bulls), J. Marshall (Wanganui), Deighton, Hammond, Wilkie, and Simpson. Farewell Party. . A'large party of Raetihi friends met recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Baird to bid farewell to Mr. and Mrs.
