SCHOOL MEMBERSHIP

By advertisement in today's issue boys and girls attending school are invited to call at the Navy League office. 212 Lambton • Quay, and join with the Navy League, if they, have no branch at their school.

The annual school subscription is one shilling, and upon enrolment the school members receive. their bronze badges and this year's souvenir which, in honour of the Coronation, is a photograph of his Majesty King George. VI in the uniform, of an Admiral of' the Fleet. The text of the souvenir, a reproduction of which appears on this page, includes an extract from; the King's Message to the children ; of New Zealand given on his visit here as Duke of York in March, 1927: "Our message to you is: to guard zealously through the years to come the honour and safety of the great Empire to which you belong. Remember all that it stands for in the world today. Be honourable, steadfast, and fearless in your duty."
