POOR TALLOW MARKET.
The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office under date June 2:—No public sale held this week. The demand is very poor. Current quotations: Good mutton, 26s to 26s 6d per cvvt; good beef and mixed, 25s to 25s 6d; gut, 22s to 23s 6d.
