SUDANESE TRADE
JAPAN SUPPLIES BULK OF IMPORTS
(.Received May 19, 9 aim.) CAIRO, May 18. Sudanese Government statistics reveal that Britain and Egypt are losing Sudanese trade to Japan, which now supplies the bulk of the Sudan imports amounting to 24.9 per cent., and takes only 2.5 per cent, of Sudanese expprts. Britain supplies 20.3 per cent, of the imports and takes 45.3 per cent, of the exports. '
