FLOWER SHOW AT WOBURN
The Hutt Railway Workshops Horticultural Society held a very successful autumn show in the Railway Social, Hall,' Wobum, recently. Owing to the unfavourable weather the attendance was not up to the usual standard. The results are as .follows:-^— ■ Mr. W. Baker, 6 firsts; Mr. J. Key, 10' firsts, 2 seconds; Mr. A. Addis, 1 first; Mr. H. Milne, 2 firsts; Mr. J. Richards,3 firsts, 1 second;, Mr. A. J. Williams, 5 firsts; Mr. R. Potts, 4 firsts; Mr. C. Cotton, 1 first; Mr. J. Pearson, 1 first; Mr. J. H. Jones, 1 first; Mrs. Taylor, 3 firsts, 4 seconds; Mrs. Cotton, 5 firsts, 1 second; Mrs. Simpson, 4 firsts; Mrs. Marshall, 2 firsts; Mrs. W. Smith, 2 firsts. ' .. The champion bloom was, shown by Mr. W. Baker, and the champion novice bloom by Mr. A. Addis. The society's trophies were won as follows: —Chrysanthemums, Mr. W. Baker; vegetables, Mr. R. Potts, 2 prizes; Mr. J. Key, 1 ririze; Mr. A. J. Williams, 1 prize; cooking. Mrs. Simpson; decorative, Mrs. Taylor; needlework, Mrs. W. Smith; Messrs. T. Waugh and Son's trophy, Mr. J. Key: Elbe Bros.' Cup, Mr. J. Key; Neil Cup, Mr. W. Baker. j
