THEFTS FROM HOUSES
Six charges of theft, involving a total, of £66 15s, were admitted by Harolcl Haigh Hardgraves, a labourer, aged 43, who appeared before Mr. E.D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. Detective-Sergeant W. Kane explained that the accused gained entrance to houses by passing himself oft as s win-dow-cleaner. He had received a term of 12 months' imprisonment at Christchurch for offences committed subsequent to those with which ho was charged. , . , He was convicted and discharged, onfc each count. '"' ■
