(Received May 13, -11.30 a.m.)
LONDON, May 12,
In a broadcast message the Australian Prime Minister (Mr. J. A. Lyons) said:— ..,.■■ i "I speak for all the Australian people when I assure their Majesties that they have our undivided love, respect, and loyalty, and our wishes for a long, happy, and peaceful reign."
The Regimental Pipe and Drum Band is to play in Panama Street at 7.45 o'clock tonight, instead of at Bowen Street, as previously arranged. The change is being made to avoid traffic congestion such as occurred in Bowen Street last night when the Institute Silver Band played there. •
