CORONATION SHOW
WELL PATRONISED
A large i crowd witnessed the spectacular horse events at the Show Stadium yesterday afternoon. These events will be continued today and on Saturday. Today the hack and pony classes will be judged and the Wellington Drapers' Association jump and Wellington jump will be held. There are 20 entries in the former and 27 in the latter. The Mayor will be a competitor in or.c of the hack classes and there are also a numoer of er.cries in the pony classes from Government House. The final day of the jumps will be on Saturday The final judging of the marching competition will be held in the stadium tonight and there will no doubt be a crowd of interested spectators. The team of All Nations,, led by Britannia., was an outstanding feature last night, and it will be repeated tonight and on Saturday night. The fashion parade is a very popular turn and draws a large audience nightly. One of the most sought after persons in the show is Madame Beda, palmist, who gives free readings to patrons in the tearooms. • The attendances were better at all three sessions^esterday (nan on Saturday, and had the children been allowed to attend since .the commencement the turnstiles would live shown a great improvement on last year. Hall, of 32 Drummond Street, fell heavily on the footpath in Adelaide Road at 5 o'clock yesterday evening and dislocated his/right shoulder. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
