SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNEY
(Special to the "Evening Post.") , PALMERSTON N., Thik Day. A seven-a-side Rugby tourney, conducted yesterday by the Manawatu Rugby Union, resulted in Feilding Old Boys defeating Kio Toa by 13 points to Bin the final. Wellington Technical College Old Boys had three teams competing but they were unsuccessful. New South Wales shearers and shed hands have recommended that a ballot should be taken at all centres ,:jn July to decide whether there should be a cessation' of work in the pastoral industry, as a protest against the existing rates of pay.
