Lady .Hosking (Christchurch)., spent a few days in Wellington this week, and left today--' by the Wanganella- for Sydney. She 'Will'spend the winter months with her daughter, Mrs. Dundas Allen, in Sydney. .Mr. ~ and ..Mrs. .'Fred Gr.otrian, "Konewa," As'hhurst, who have been visiting, Christchurch and the Franz Joseph Glacier, arrived in Wellington yesterday and attended the Coronation Ball in the Horticultural Hall, Lower Hutt, last night. They will leave for their home today. Mrs. R. M, Bond (Dunedin), who has been spending a holiday in Auckland, Rotorua,.and ..Wellington, will return to the south today. Mrs. T. Smclair-Evatt and Miss Cara Sinclair-Evatt from Blenheim by air today tq, attend the garden party at Goverrimehf House on Friday. While in Wellingtoni^hey will be the guests of Mrs. Sinclair Ronald, Kelburn. Mrs. W.7G.; Hewson, Friend Street, Karori, is visiting her father, Mr. Bristed, Christchurch. Mrs. R. V;, Hume will make a round trip on the s.s. Maetsuycker, which leaves Wellington for the East tomorrow. Mr. and Mrs:^. White were Wellington visitors to/Napier for the BernauHickes wedding, which took place on Tuesday. Mrs. S. Carter (Auckland) arrived in Wellington by the Limited yesterday to spend a .month's holiday as the guest of Miss Holm. Mrs.: Keppel.*Archer '(Christchurch), who has been, visiting Wellington, has returned home. '•' ' Mrs. J.. A. Lee- (Wellington) is in Auckland and is staying at the Station Hotel. Miss M. C.
