£3000 FOR T.B. BLOCK
GENEROUS ACTION
(By Belegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 11. Mr. Samuel Saltzman, Dunedin, who has made numerous public benefactions during the past few years,, has now made a gift of £3000 to the South ptago Hospital Board towards the cost of erecting a tuberculosis block at the Balclutha Hospital. When confirmation of the offer was received at a meeting of the board today a resolution was carried expressing deep gratitude for the generous-dona-tion.- Mr. Saltzman's gifts to hospitals and other social services now amount to about £18r,000.
