A discovery of great Importance to antiquarians'has been made among the Southern. Urals. ■'
Workmen have come upon what is said to be the Turkoman grave of a young girl who lived about 1400 years ago. She was evidently of noble birth.
Buried in rich garments, she wore an ornate headdress enriched with pure gold, silver lockets, and a veil covering her from head to foot, its folds studded with tiny silver stars. A bronze spoon and a knife were close at hand.
