PRICES IMPROVING

The Bank of New, Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office, as at close of business this week:—There is a weaker tendency, for. wethers. Weaker values are ruling for ewes owing to lack of demand. The demand for lambs is. improving, but prices are practically unchanged. There is a fair demand for chilled -beef. Trade generally is brighter with a better demand.
