PIGEON RACING

The Wellington Central Pigeon Club S. concluded the young-bird series last Saturday with a one-bird championship T flock race from National Park, a 150----mile airline. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster at 9.32 a.m; with a southerly wind overcast. The winner - was Mr. A. A. Wilton's Master Monarck, ,] winning the cup presented by. Mr. F. ~ C. Ferris. Beautiful Terms, «, 7hr 38min'4sec, 6. In the Manunui ( race, a distance of 170. miles, the birds ■ were liberated by the stationmaster, Mr. Doyle, at 9 a.m. with a northerly ; wind and the sky overcast. The win- 3< ncr was Mr. F. C.
