ATTACK ON CHURCHES
PAINFUL IMPRESSION AT VATICAN
LONDON, May 3.
The correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" at the Vatican City says that Herr Hitler's attack on the churches has made a painful impression, as officials had been led to believa that he desired a friendly settlement o£ the dispute with the Vatican.
