The aviator Mr. H. F. Broadbent landed at Lympnc at 5.41 p.m. at life end of his solo flight from Australia, in which he broke the record time of 7 days 19 hours 50 minutes set up by Mr. H. L. Brook in 1935. Mr. Broadbent's time was 6 days 10 hours 55 minutes.
