LONDON, May 3.
Interviewed aboard the Arawa, Mr. M. J. Savage, Prime Minister of New Zealand, who will arrive at Southampton tomorrow, declared that in the substitution of right for might as the guiding principle of nations lay the only real .hope of peace and security. He believed firmly that they would never have peace until the economic and political relations of the people of the nations were based to a greater extent on the principles of right and justice.. Discussing the Imperial Conference, Mr. Savage said that New Zealand recognised that she played only a small part in the affairs of the Empire, but nevertheless she was imbued with a sense of her responsibility in discussing the important subjects set down on the agenda.
