: ...'". . LONDON, May 1. In the men's final at the British hardcourt tennis championships H. W. Austin beat H. G. N. Lee, 6-2, 6-2, 6-0. In the women's singles final Miss Anita Lizana (Chile) beat Miss Margaret Scriven (England), 7-5,6-3. In the final of the men's doubles C. E. Hare and F. H. D. Wilde beat G. P. Hughes and C. R. D. Tuckey, 6-2, 6-4, 7-9 -6-4. The winners reversed last year's Wimbledon final, suggesting their possibility as a Davis Cup pair.
