BOXER DISQUALIFIED
SYDNEY, May 1.
The American boxer, George Simpson, was disqualified in the eighth round of his bout with the Australian middleweight champion, Ron Richards. The latter was knocked down 11 times, and, according to one critic, "not once from the effects of a fair punch."
