On Saturday a bogey competition at Karori for the Walker trophy was won by R.-K., Barron,with..a card of 3 up. His:round was a net 68, and his handicap- has been reduced from 24 to 20. 'On' Sunday-morning a fourball bogey was won by A; W:..Gunson and G. C. Simmis, with ■ 4 up. v ". -;' ■The fourball Stableford in the afternoon, was? won : by" R.. McKenzie and A. O.Heany, with 43 points. McKenzie'scard was particularly good, reading: Out; 353535455—38; in, 445445654^--41; 79. Bogey for the course is 72. From a handicap of 8 the card is all the more meritorious in view of a high wind prevailing: and several temporary- greens in use this weekend. ■
