CORONATION SHOW
OFFICIAL OPENING
The Coronation Show was opened to the public today unofficially, and the attendance showed that there was widespread interest in the industrial section, which combines most of the products made in the Dominion, including the majority of domestic fittings and a good deal of useful machinery. The side-shows show an advance oii previous occasions, and the amusement side of the show is well catered . for, while the competitive classes,'needlework, etc., are largely entered for.
This evening the official opening will be held, the speakers being the president of the Wellington Show Association (Mr. C. J. B. Norwood), the Mayor of Wellington (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop), and the Acting Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser).
Judging of some of the competitive classes will be completed this afternoon,
