STRONG TEA MARKETS
The Colombo tea market this week, according to-private advices received in Wellington, was very strong for all descriptions. Common teas advanced Ida lb and medium and better teas Id to 3d. There was a strong general demand. Quality was about average for the time of the year. , Smaller supplies are now coming to hand. The London market was very strong, prices generally being dearer.
