MARTON, This Day.
Two infantile paralysis suspects, a girl of 5 and a boy of 10, were removed to hospital today. The town • school has been closed on the advice of the Health Department. The cases are the first in this, district.

PAHIATUA, This Day.
A girl, aged nine, residing in Mangatainoka, on the outskirts of Pahiatua, was taken to the Masterton Hospital last night suffering from infantile paralysis of the legs. This is the first case in Pahiatua since the present outbreak.

AUCKLAND, This Day.
No further cases of infantile paralysis were reported from the Auckland or Thames hospitals today. ,
Interviewed by telephone from Auckland, the Director-General of Health, Dr. Watt, said that Auckland was in an entirely different position from Gisborne. where it had been decided to cancel the Coronation celebrations. "If action is warranted at any time," Dr. Watt said, "the'public of Auckland can rest assured that the Health Department will not hesitate to take the same course as taken at Gisborne."
