SEMI-FINALS OF HUTT TOURNEY
A stiff northerly wind made the conditions a little difficult, this morning when the semi-finals of the Hutt Ladies' Open Championship and the Hutt Handicap were played. Mrs. Slater was narrowly defeated by Mrs. Foreman, who met Miss Betts in the final this afternoon. Results:— Championship.—Miss Betts beat Miss B. Wilson, 8 and 6; Mrs. Foreman beat Mrs. Slater, 2 and 1. Handicap.—Mrs. Wiren beat Miss Hollis, 4 and 3. Mrs. Wclton-Hogg beat Mrs. Treadwell. .
