ACCIDENTS
Shortly before .' .'8 a.m. yesterday, J. Carbin, a.labourer, of 219 Adelaide Road, fell from a ladder on the Holmglen,: berthed at- /the : Queen's Wharf, suffering fracture .of ribs on his right side.
Injuries to the right foot and;back were received by H. Weeler, of 97 Coromandel Street, when he was knocked down by a car at the corner of Tory Street and Courtenay Place, at 10.40 p.m. on Monday, W. Stevens, of 37 Jessie Street, was taken to hospital at 8.50 p.m. on Monday with a fractured left ankle, resulting from a fall.
