' DUNEDIN, April 27, V The Dunedin Savings bank's balancesheet for the year ended March 31 showed that the amount lodged by depositors was £907,232, witnurawais totalling £915,543. Interest added tor the year was £67,838, while the total standing to the credit of depositors was £2,365,000. On the whole tne year had been very successful, a large volume of business having been put through and a considerable number oi new accounts having been "opened.

A record year's business, with assets totalling £8,962,850, and with an aggregate of £8,021,110 at the credit of depositors, was shown in the annual report of the Auckland Savings Bank, presented by the president, Mr. A.
