' DUNEDIN, April 27, V The Dunedin Savings bank's balancesheet for the year ended March 31 showed that the amount lodged by depositors was £907,232, witnurawais totalling £915,543. Interest added tor the year was £67,838, while the total standing to the credit of depositors was £2,365,000. On the whole tne year had been very successful, a large volume of business having been put through and a considerable number oi new accounts having been "opened.
A record year's business, with assets totalling £8,962,850, and with an aggregate of £8,021,110 at the credit of depositors, was shown in the annual report of the Auckland Savings Bank, presented by the president, Mr. A. Harris at the annual meeting of trie trustees of. the bank :on .Monday.
