BROTHERS' FEAT
RIFLE SHOOTING RECORD
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
DUNEDIN, March 23,
Among competitors at the Otago Rifle Association's Easter meeting will be the three brothers Graham who, at the Easter meeting last year, established what is believed to be a record for Otago and New. Zealand and probably for the Empire. Competing in the same match each of the brothers scored 100 out of a possible of. 105.
This feat was performed on Easter Monday during the firing of the teams' match for the Ladies' Challenge Shield, one of the finest teams' matches in the Dominion. It is for teams of five men from any volunteer corps or defence rifle club in New Zealand and calls for seven shots and two optional sighters each at 300, 500, and 600 yards, the shield being held by the winners for 12 months.
