BAYONNE, March 10,
The Hon. Jessica Freeman-Mitford, the 19-year-old daughter of Lord Redesdale, who ran away to Spain "in search of excitement," and Mr. Winston Churchill's nephew, Edmond Romilly, aged 18, arrived from Bilbao m his Majesty's destroyer Echo. It is understood that they are going to Paris.
Efforts to trace Miss Frecman-Mit-ford and Mr. Romilly have been carried out in Spain for some weeks. Romance entered their lives, and steps were taken to prevent their marriage as both are under age. Despite a threat that he was liable to imprisonment if he married the Hon. Jessica. Romilly, in a message to London, said that having decided to get married they would continue trying to achieve this. "Threats of imprisonment make no difference," he stated. "We both regard marriage mainly as a convenience, and it does not mean the end of the world if we are unable to marry." .Romilly was recently fighting with the international column in Madrid.
